EPIDEMIOLOGY UNMASKED:
AN INTRODUCTION TO EPIDEMIOLOGY IN PUBLIC HEALTH
Epidemiology Unmasked is an introductory textbook covering elementary concepts in epidemiology, biostatistics and public health presented in a visually appealing way. It includes topics such as infectious diseases, epidemiological study designs, and step-by-step breakdown of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Epidemiology Unmasked takes the reader through an infectious disease outbreak investigation in the shoes of an epidemiologist, teaching fundamental concepts along the way. Readers gain a deep understanding of how outbreaks impact our everyday lives and the mechanisms used to combat them.

PROJECT-BASED LESSON
In this project-based lesson, students will design their own public service announcement regarding a particular infectious disease outbreak scenario. KID TEACH KID PUBLIC HEALTH COURSE
A free, virtual, 4-week summer program where students are taught the basics of epidemiology and public health. The course follows the curriculum of Epidemiology Unmasked. We partnered with the nonprofit organization Kid Teach Kid to host this course to middle and high school students across the nation. We achieved over 1,000 signups for the live lectures, and the entirety of the class is archived in the Kid Teach Kid course library.
