TEXAS STATE BOARD OF EDUCATION
We have testified at the Texas State Board of Education advocating for curricular standards on public health and epidemiology instruction during the April General Meeting.

LEGISLATIVE OUTREACH
We have spoken with a variety of local, state, and national-level policymakers regarding legislation to promote public health literacy.

KATY ISD CURRICULUM & INSTRUCTION CONFERENCE
We have been invited to present our project-based curriculum to numerous science and health teachers across the 71 public schools in Katy ISD. We will host a 3-hour presentation and workshop, and teachers will adopt the curriculum for the 2021-22 educational year.

7TH INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON PUBLIC HEALTH
Our research study on the effectiveness of student learning of epidemiology through an interactive outbreak investigation will be presented at the 7th International Conference on Public Health. Here, hundreds of policymakers, public health professionals, researchers, and scientists will convene to discuss the latest innovations in the field of public health.
